State law enforcement agencies made 294 motor vehicle stops, issued 64 citations and made 10 arrests during targeted patrols along Route 125 on Friday that included Rochester.

Officers from the Brentwood, Epping, Lee, Barrington and Rochester Police Departments, as well as troopers from New Hampshire Department of Safety Division of State Police Troop-A in Epping took part in this initiative.

The 10 arrests included four that involved impaired drivers, including one who led police on a slow-speed chase until officers deployed a tire deflation device to render the vehicle inoperable.

The subject was then taken into custody without further incident and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated as well as several other motor vehicle violations. The driver's name was not released.
