ROCHESTER - Donald Lawrence died peacefully, and was reunited with his beloved, in his home on March 26 surrounded by a group of his loved ones.

Don was a man you could always count on for a smile. That's what he strived for. Whether it was one of his jokes, showing you his belly button or pulling his shirt up and slapping his belly. He loved to see people smile. He was also known for his cowboy boots, which were the only shoes he wore.

Don was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. In Don's younger years, some of his most favorite things to do was dance with his beautiful wife and take road trips with her. After the passing of his beloved, he was more focused on his daughters and granddaughters. There was nothing he wouldn't do to make sure all his girls were taken care of.

Other than his family, he enjoyed playing poker, watching westerns, having cookouts with the family and had a huge love for music. Especially Elvis. You could always count on music playing when visiting him.

Don is predeceased by his beautiful wife Lois.

He is survived by his daughter Tonia Wheeler and her significant other Tim Dillon, daughter Diane Skipper and son Mike Skipper, granddaughters Eriel Wheeler, Autumn Abbey, Adryanna Skipper and Paige Wheeler, son in law Alan Wheeler, adopted daughters Tori Clapper and Jules Kelliher, as well as many friends and other family.
