ACTON, Maine - Donald W Morrill, 91, died on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

Born August 13, 1932, in Brookfield, N.H., to Harry and Phyllis (Grant) Morrill.

Donald has lived in Acton for the past 40 years. He worked at Portsmouth Naval Ship yard as a pipefitter. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to the Lafayette Club and to the Gentleman's Club to enroll and try his luck in their raffles. He enjoyed the outdoors, riding his four-wheeler, hunting, playing cards, cribbage, whisk, and rummy. He was an avid gardener anything you wanted to grow he could tell you how, he also took pride in making his property look nice and kept. He loved to help people by lending tools, equipment or even his time. He loved his dog Peanut. He loved his family and friends. He will be sadly missed.

Members of his family include his Son Donald Morrill JR of Milton, N.H., Dawn Tinkham and her husband David of Milton, Janette "Gigi" Downs and her partner Stanley Drelick of Union, N.H., Kris Nadeau and her husband Audie of Farmington, N.H., and Kelly Rocheleau and her husband Thomas of Farmington. He is predeceased by his daughters Allyne "Duke" Carberry and Kimberly Tompson. He has 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
