Don't miss musical tributes to our fallen heroes at the Common this weekend

The Field of Honor will once again be on display over this Memorial Day Weekend at the Rochester Commons. (Vouchers for Veterans Facebook page photo)
Be sure to make some time to stop at the Rochester Commons this weekend and walk through the rows of heroes. This will be a sight you will never forget. Each flag has attached to the pole a yellow silk ribbon and card containing the name, branch and rank of a veteran. Volunteers will be on duty to assist you in any way needed from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday through Monday. Honor a fallen hero.
A short ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday. American Legion Post 7 color guard will post their colors followed by the laying of the wreath and the reading of the proclamation. Guest speaker will be General Donald Bolduc.
Buglers each night at 7 p.m. followed by a bagpiper strolling through the flags playing. Free to the public.
