ROCHESTER - Doris A. Welch, 83, died at the Colonial Hill Center in Rochester on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018.
Born March 20, 1934 at the Wentworth hospital in Dover, the daughter of John and Elsie (Titcomb) Pinkham.
She grew up and lived in the Dover-Durham area later moving to the Berwick-North Berwick area. She worked most of her life as a seamstress and devoted much of her time to raising her children. She enjoyed the outdoors especially camping and fishing. Her biggest joy was being with her family. She will be sadly missed by all and fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as "Meme."
Doris is survived by her children, Raymond Boutin and his wife Robin, Daniel Boutin, Linda Jenkins and her husband Kenneth, Debra Schloth and her husband Eric, Donna Evangelou and her husband Jamie, Richard Welch and his wife Nancy, Jenifer Best and her husband Robert, Lois Welch-Merchant and her husband Shawn; fourteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents and seven older siblings; her husband, Richard N. Welch; and her first husband, Harold R. Boutin.
