Dover Police on lookout for suspect in downtown bank robbery

DOVER - Dover Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning at the city's Bank of America branch on Washington Street.

Police say a man walked into the bank around 10:15 a.m., got an undetermined amount of cash and fled the area on foot, leaving some of the clothes he wore in the robbery nearby.

The suspect is described as a white male who was wearing a gray Nike brand sweatshirt and pink/white checkered pajama pants, some of which were recovered nearby.

He was last seen wearing a pink shirt, pink pants and dark colored shorts over the pants.
