ROCHESTER - the Children's Room at the Rochester Public Library invites children and families to 'StoryTime and Touch-a-Truck' on Tuesday at the Department of Public Works located at 209 Chestnut Hill Road.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m., a truck-themed StoryTime will be held in the DPW conference room, followed by an exciting opportunity for children up to age 6 and their families to get up close to various vehicles, sit in the driver's seats, and even honk the horn in the garage.

"The Library is always looking for ways to expand the scope of Storytime, collaborating with the DPW to present this program is a great way to do this," said Christina Paquette, children's librarian. "When considering locations for off-site events the Department of Public Works makes perfect sense. Kids love big trucks!"

In the event of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled for Dec. 14th at 10:30 a.m.. All are welcome. For additional details and updates, visit www.rpl.lib.nh.us/children.
