NASHUA - A Nashua man was sentenced on Monday on one count of armed career criminal, one count of felon in possession, and three counts of drug trafficking.
Daren Innie, 55, was ordered to to serve 10 to 20 years in state prison on the Armed Career Criminal charge, 3 to 6 years on the Felon in Possession charge, and 5 to 10 years on two of the Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Distribute charges. The sentences for the Felon in Possession charge and the two Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Distribute charges will be served concurrently with each other, but consecutive to the Armed Career Criminal charge.
These sentences result in a total term of 15-30 years in state prison, with an additional sentence of 10-20 years suspended for a period of 10 years from the date of his release.
The evidence in this case established that in June of 2022, the defendant possessed a revolver and a blackjack, with prior qualifying convictions prohibiting him from possessing weapons, and that he possessed quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl with the intent to distribute those drugs. The amount of fentanyl seized as a result of this investigation amounted to approximately 625 grams, and the amount of methamphetamine seized was approximately 225 grams.
