Durham man promoted to partner at Dover CPA firm

DOVER - The CPA firm of Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Professional Association announced recently the the promotion of Peter Ventura to partner.

A graduate of UNH, Mr. Ventura has been with Leone, McDonnell & Roberts since 2003. As partner, he is recognized within the firm as an expert with regard to employee benefit plan audits, and is responsible for multiple pension, 401(k) and 403(b) plan audits as well. He works with tax clients of various sizes and is responsible for audits for many of the firm's manufacturing clients.

Mr. Ventura has a strong background in and knowledge of several different industries. Specifically, he has extensive experience with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and has spent more than a decade working with clients in manufacturing and not-for-profit sectors.

In addition to maintaining his focus on the success of both the firm and its clients, Mr. Ventura extends his commitment and knowledge to local college students, assisting with the firm's recruitment efforts with students at the University of New Hampshire.

Originally from Plaistow, he experienced life in other parts of the country, spending four years in Georgia and three years in Michigan. He then moved back to his home state, settling in Durham with his wife, Lori, and their two children. Peter is actively involved in our community currently serving on the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA). Outside of the office, he is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys participating in a variety of sports.
