E. Wakefield motorcyclist dies in collision with box truck on Route 16

MILTON - A 71-year-old East Wakefield man was killed on Thursday when his motorcycle collided with a box truck on Route 16.

The crash occurred around 3:25 p.m. in the area of Exit 18. A

preliminary investigation revealed that a 2015 Hino 195 box truck driven by Noah Williams, 20, of Rochester, was traveling northbound on the Spaulding Turnpike when he collided with a 2010 Yamaha 400 motorcycle, also traveling northbound, operated by Glenn Brewer.

Brewer was pronounced dead at the scene.

Northbound and southbound lanes of the Spaulding Turnpike were closed in the area of Exit 18 for about five 5 hours while Troopers investigated the crash.

Assisting the New Hampshire State Police Troop-A at the scene were the New Hampshire State Police C.A.R. unit, Troop G, The Milton Police and Fire departments, New Hampshire D.O.T. and the New Hampshire Medical Examiner's Office.

This accident remains under investigation by the New Hampshire State Police C.A.R. unit. Anyone with information pertaining to the collision is asked to contact Trooper Pieniazek at; Christopher.Pieniazek@dos.nh.gov
