DOVER - Edward St. Pierre, 99, died Monday February 8, 2021 at Riverside Rest Home, following a period of failing health.

Born March 25, 1921 in South Berwick, Maine, he was the son of Arthur and Esther (Flanagan) St. Pierre.

Mr. St. Pierre served in the Navy, and later became a General Contractor for many years. He was a member of the Rochester Elks Lodge.

Edward loved fishing, woodworking, dancing, and traveling. Eddie also enjoyed snowmobiling and at one time was an avid member of the Trailblaizers Snowmobile Club in Wells, Maine. He and his wife, Annette, made the move to Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1972 where they resided for 41 years and then decided it was time to come home to their roots and returned to Maine.

Eddie loved seafood and always enjoyed our many trips to Newick's for steam clams and lobster, and Windjammers for fried smelts. He would top it off with an ice cream at Strafford Farms. He was always a guest for a Thanksgiving spread at Rene and Luanne Cardinals, a day he truly enjoyed. It was always a busy time when family arrived for a visit from Hawaii, he loved seeing them. Eddie was a happy man, and loved life. We were blessed to have had him in our lives.

Members of his family include his children Donna Sanborn and husband Jim of Florida; Karen Freddolino and husband Philip of Cocolalla, ID; John St. Pierre and wife Sharon of Berwick, Maine; Debra St. Pierre-Heidenstron of Berwick; his stepchildren Patricia Blanchette and husband Gerard of Honolulu, HI; Paul Lanoie and wife Rose of Berwick, ME; Pamela Shewell and husband Dennis of Kailua, HI; and Palma Cardinal of Farmington; 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife Marie Annette Lucille (Huppe) St. Pierre and his daughter Nancy Fuller
