Elderly city woman among two hurt in Tuesday crash

EAST ROCHESTER - An elderly woman was injured today in a two-car collision at the corner of Autumn Street and Salmon Falls Road.

The crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. when police say Lillian Hurn, 70, of Rochester, was driving an Infiniti G35 on Autumn Street and turning onto Salmon Falls Road while Amber Fewless, 26, of Rochester, was operating a Chrysler Town and Country on Salmon Falls Road.

As a result of the collision Hurn and Fewless were taken by by EMS to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

The collision is still under investigation at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rochester Police Department at 603-330-7128.
