ROCHESTER - Eleanor L. (Blaisdell) Harding of Rochester, died on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care, at Dartmouth Hitchcock.

She was born July 27, 1943, to Willard and Ruth Blaisdell of East Rochester. She grew up on Salmon Falls Rd & graduated from Spaulding in 1961. After graduation, she moved to Barrington and raised her family. She enjoyed riding horses, roller skating and bowling. She was a school bus driver, a driver for a local auto parts store and she worked in manufacturing when she retired. Ellie inherited her father's love of history and had a lifelong fascination with Egypt.
She was often seen wearing a cartouche necklace of hieroglyphs. She shared with everyone her love of animals, especially horses and cats. She would enjoy taking road trips, yard sales and antiquing with her companion, Dave Norton. She will always be remembered for her Saturday evening home made baked bean dinners and her desserts.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her younger brothers: Charles and Richard Blaisdell. She is survived by her companion Dave Norton, her brother Willie Blaisdell, her children Laura Harding, from New Durham and David Harding (wife Kristin) from East Rochester. Along with her 2 grandchildren, Kody & Kamdyn Hobbs.
