ROCHESTER - Eleanor M Lewis, 92, of Rochester, died on Oct. 26, 2022, after a short illness.

Born in Barrington on Feb. 10,1930, the daughter of Kenneth and Ruth Hall of Barrington. She graduated from Spaulding High School in 1949.

Eleanor was very active in The Meaderboro Community Church. She was Sunday school teacher and Sunday school treasurer for many years. Eleanor was also a part of the churches missionary support group.

Eleanor also did volunteer work for Frisbie Memorial Hospital volunteer program. She loved this time to visit with the patients and help them with menu planning. She was always there to cheer someone up that might be having a bad day.

Eleanor was very proud of her family and loved to talk about her grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband and love of her life Henry W Lewis Dec. 24,1988, and three brothers Harry Hall, Kenneth Hall and Clifton Hall.

Eleanor leaves behind the following family member's two daughters Patricia Houle and her husband; Lance of Pittsfield, Kathleen Hubertz of Rochester, Her sister Madeline Goodwin of Farmington; four grandchildren Timothy and Amanda Purvis of Gainesboro Tenn., Michael and Betsy Purvis of Chichester; Jennifer McManus and her fiance' Stephen Simons of Nashua, Curtis Hubertz and his fiance' Marjorie Lougee of Rochester; three great grandchildren Logan Purvis, Magnolia Hubertz, and Henry Hubertz; and many nieces and nephews.
