ROCHESTER - Elizabeth (Ross) "Liz" Scurrah, 85, died peacefully on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, at home.

She was born May 11, 1937, in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of Thomas and Florence (Parker) Ross. Liz lived most of her life in Lynn and Saugus, Mass. She moved to Rochester 20 years ago.

In her younger years she was a member of the Rainbow Girls and sang in the church choir. Liz enjoyed cooking, watching old movies - especially war films and cooking shows. She knew all the history of the movie stars. She also had an interest in astrology. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas Brazis, David Scurrah(Jaime Palmerini); daughters, Kim Kelly (Bill West)and Jane Hebert(Alonzo) grandchildren, Karen (Patrick) Wear, Leighann (Shaun) Muse, Cindy (Ben Burum) Kelly, Thomas C. Brazis, Matt Hebert, Ilana Hebert and Christina Kelly; great grandchildren, Karleigh Wear, Brielle Muse, Ethan Muse and a baby grandson on the way. Two very special friends, JR. Davis and Justin Lufkin; Liz was predeceased by her daughter, Diane Manuel and brother, Linwood Ross.

She also leaves behind her dear kitty, Pretty Boy.
