DOVER - Erik A. Cain, 41, died Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Wentworth Douglass Hospital from injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident. Born March 1, 1977 in Newburyport, Mass., the son of Warren and Joan (Anderson) Cain.
Erik was a contractor and most recently a job site superintendent for Bauen Corporation.
Erik was adventurous and full of life. He could always make you laugh, crack a joke, or give a hug. He had the best personality and could light up any room he entered. His love was unconditional. You could always find him at a game or swim meet, supporting his children, friends or family. He enjoyed boating, loved the ocean and exploring new places. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle, but most of all he was an adoring husband and devoted father.
Members of his family include his wife Susan (Rudd) Cain of Dover, his children Kelsey and Evan Cain of Dover, his parents Warren and Joan Cain of The Villages, Fla.; two brothers Paul Cain and wife Rebecca of Nottingham, and Todd Cain and wife Kerri of Hampton; his father and mother-in-law Chandler and Darlene Rudd of Hampton, two brothers-in-law Sean Rudd of Danville, and Scott Rudd of Hampton; nieces and nephews.
