Even as more lives loss, positive numbers continue to mount

CONCORD - DHHS announced 287 new positive test results for COVID-19, for a current PCR test positivity rate of 2.3 percent.

Today's newly identified cases include 34 minors and 33 from Strafford County.

Local current case numbers show 34 in Rochester, 36 in Dover, 14 in Somersworth, 27 in Barrington, six in Farmington and 1-5 in Milton and Strafford.

In the last month hospitalizations have shrunk by almost a half and current cases statewide are down by a third.

DHHS has also announced four additional deaths related to COVID-19, all over 60.
