CONCORD - A former New Hampshire prison corrections officer was arrested Wednesday on theft charges alleging he falsified his time cards by putting in for overtime shifts he didn't work.

Craig Come, 34, of Derry, was charged with theft by deception, attempted theft by deception, and official oppression, an offense charged against people in authority, according to the Attorney Generals Office.

It is alleged that between November 2019 and May 2020, Come falsely claimed on his time card he was entitled to payment for various shifts at the New Hampshire State Prison for men.

Come's arraignment in Merrimack Superior Court is set for July 7.
