The Fallen Leaf's Veggie Wrap with fries (Rochester Voice photo)

ROCHESTER - Rochester is known for its broad range of eateries, and Fallen Leaf Bistro provides yet another iteration that is drawing in a covey of loyal customers.
From its crisp, clean décor and polished wooden tables, you can look out on North Main and watch the hustle and bustle of the downtown while dining on an assortment of breakfast and lunch wraps, burgers and salads.
You can also enjoy local wines and specialty cocktails like a guava mimosa.
While I often get chicken or fish I opted for a gluten free veggie wrap, which comprised a full and bountiful array of mixed greens, carrots, olives, pea tendrils and avocado.
Unfortunately it was also supposed to have hummus, which was there, but not nearly enough to my liking.
Moreover, the wrap was useless, disintegrating in my hands after the first couple of bites.
I say if the gluten free wrap can't hold the stuff inside, don't use it, and if you insist on using it, don't charge an extra $2 for it.

A bright spot was the fries, which were topped with a little Parmesan cheese that made them nice and crispy. - HT
