FARMINGTON, N.H. - A man died Tuesday in a fast-moving Farmington house fire.

Firefighters got the call around 9:30 a.m. and arrived at 495 Ten Rod Road to find the second floor where the man became trapped fully involved.

Two small children and another adult are thought to have lived at the house, all having just moved in recently. The three were treated for smoke inhalation.

The man apparently went back into the house for an unknown reason. Firefighters later rescued a dog, but it's not clear if that's why he went back, the Union Leader reported today.
