Farmington woman nabbed in heroin trafficking

A Farmington, N.H., woman was arrested on Tuesday on charges of selling heroin after a months-long investigation by the Strafford County Drug Task Force.

Rema Tajildeen, 31, of 297 Main St. Apt. #2, turned herself in to Rochester Police on an active warrant.

The investigation occurred over several months in the town of Farmington where Tajildeen sold several quantities of heroin to an undercover officer assigned to the Strafford County Drug Task Force.

Tajildeen was released on $5,000 personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Rochester Circuit Court next month.

The Strafford County Drug Task Force is made up of law enforcement officers from police departments within Strafford County. Since its inception in July 2014, the team has conducted 81covert drug investigations resulting in 16 arrests and seizing more than $80,000 in cash.
