ROCHESTER - Rochester Police on Monday arrested an Academy Street woman who they say was conducting an underage drinking party inside her apartment.
Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham said Erika Rose Hunter, 22, of 21 Academy St., Apt A, was arrested after police responded to the area for a report of a fight.
When officers arrived at the scene they were told the combatants had gone into an apartment.
As police continued their investigation inside the aparmtent they determined "many" people under the age of 21 were consuming alcohol, Pinkham said on Wednesday.
Hosting an underage drinking party can draw a $300 fine for a first offense, $600 for a second.
