ROCHESTER - A fire at Moe's Italian Sandwiches on Tuesday forced closure of the business but co-owner Angela Labrie said on Wednesday that the good news is no one was injured and they will reopen their doors as soon as possible.
"We have been busy with insurance adjusters, fire investigators and Eversource," she said. "It will be quite some time before Moe's will be up and running, but we will be up and running again."
The fire broke out a little before 8 a.m. and drew a quick response from Rochester Fire, which is just a few blocks away.
Deputy Chief Adam Hughes was not immediately available to comment on the fire.
A staff person at Jetpack Comic, which is next door, said they were unaware of any damage at their shop.
Moe's Co-owners Angela Labrie and Shawn Hooper were also not immediately available.
