ROCHESTER - The Rochester Fire Department in conjunction with its firefighters, local merchants and citizens are once again asking the public to help them make Christmas brighter for those in need.

Last year gifts were given to approximately 750 infants and children in the week before Christmas. Once again, they are asking for your help. Here is how you can:

- Collect new toys within your organization for age groups from newborn to 14 years old. They are always looking for ideas and donations for the 11-14 year age group.

- Collect financial contributions within your organization and shop for gifts.

- You can drop off new unwrapped items at the Rochester Fire Department at 37 Wakefield Street.

Monetary contributions can be mailed to: Rochester Fire Department Toy Bank, c/o Rochester Fire Department, 37 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH 03867.

Contact Paul Haggenmiller or Cindi Potts at 335-7545 or email Cindi at cindi.potts@rochesternh.net for more information.
