Five area residents nabbed in ongoing drug probes

DOVER - The Strafford County Drug Task Force on Wednesday announced the following area arrests as a result of Granite Hammer Operations over the past three months. The arrests were made with the assistance of the Rochester and Milton Police Departments as well as U.S. Marshals.

Michael Bernier, age 21, of 24 Academy St. Rochester for possession of the controlled drug heroin.

Cheryl Eldridge, age 38, of 17 Winter St. Apt. #4 Rochester, for possession of the controlled drug heroin.

Tyler Harvey, age, 21, of 34A Chestnut St. Rochester, for possession of the controlled drug heroin.

John Furber, age 45, LKA 47 Charles St. Rochester, for possession of the controlled drug heroin with intent to distribute and possession of the controlled drug methamphetamine. Furber was also in possession of a quantity of cash at the time of his arrest.

John Ackerman, age 41, of 545 White Mountain Highway Apt. #2 Milton, for sale of the controlled drug heroin. Ackerman was in possession of a quantity of cash at the time of his arrest.

All of the listed charges are felonies unless otherwise noted.
