DOVER - A former Rochester woman with a long history of drug and habitual offender arrests faces life imprisonment after her indictment on drug trafficking charges.

Candi Ouellette, 35, who formerly resided on Winter Street but now lists Farmstead Road in Farmington as her last known address, stands formally charged with trafficking fentanyl.

Ouellette has twice been convicted of similar charges in the past. With a third conviction, she faces up to life in prison as well as a maximum fine of $500,000.

Prosecutors say she had more than five grams of fentanyl in her possession when she was arrested on Feb. 20 in Rochester.

The Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down on April 18 and released today.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been presented to warrant moving forward toward trial.
