Born in Cuba and raised in Florida, Martha T. Soto found her comedic voice in the comedy clubs of South Beach in the '90s.

Then she spread it throughout the state even using those skills as an instructor at the Improv Comedy Traffic School.
Having taken a break after some health issues, she recently graced the stage at an Open Jam Night at Charleez Hill in Lebanon Maine.
"This venue is so warm and welcoming, I could not resist taking the stage," said Soto, who is also the president of The Rochester Voice digital daily. "It is truly a place that nourishes the soul of an entertainer."
In a set that even Andrew Dice Clay would have been proud of she tastefully roasted the venues owners who were more than happy to be the butt of her unique humor.
Perhaps you can catch her act again at an upcoming Open Jam Night.

Meanwhile, here is what is happening this weekend.
