DOVER - Frances (Catalfo) Morang of Rollinsford, died peacefully on Dec. 30, 2021, in Dover.

The daughter of Alfio and Vincenza Catalfo, Frances was born on April 11, 1927, in Salmon Falls, now Rollinsford, and lived there most of her life. She attended St. Mary Academy and Berwick Academy.

Frances worked at General Electric in Somersworth for 38 years, retiring in 1987, and went on to work at Friendly's Ice Cream in part due to her gregarious personality. She organized the GE Retirement Girls and loved hosting cookouts and pool parties, socializing and traveling with her husband, Duncan.

Frances was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Duncan Morang, in 2005. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Atty. Alfred Catalfo Jr., Joseph A. Catalfo, and Salvatore Catalfo, her sisters, Ida McClendon and Mary Gilbert, and her niece, Jo Anne Vachon.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Peggy McClendon, Anthony McClendon, John McClendon, Atty. Alfred T. Catalfo, Atty. Carole J. Catalfo, Dr. Gina Mireault, Alfred W. Catalfo, Nancy Davis and Mary Mitzie Keefe.

ARRANGEMENTS: There will be a graveside service at Pine Hill Cemetery in Dover on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are through Purdy Funeral Service.
