Free gardening workshop set for Tuesday at Frisbie Conference Center

The Lilac City Gardeners will host a free public workshop, "Getting the Garden Ready for Spring," on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Frisbie Conference Center, next to the hospital at 24 Rochester Hill Road.

The session will cover soil preparation, early spring planting techniques, weed and pest identification, composting benefits, and tool maintenance.

The workshop is open to gardeners of all experience levels, the event will feature presentations by UNH Extension Master Gardeners Jo Brown and Kathy McGoldrick. Light refreshments will be served.
