Fugitive Task Force corrals wanted transient on Buffy St.

CONCORD - A local transient being sought by the U.S. Marshals was taken into custody on Wednesday in Rochester.
Jason Lee Brewer, 38, had been wanted on an arrest warrant issued in November by Strafford County Superior Court for failing to appear on narcotics charges involving heroin/fentanyl.
As part of this investigation, Brewer was featured as the "Fugitive of the Week" on Jan. 19.
Following the press release several tips were received pointing investigators to several locations in the Rochester area, ultimately leading lawmen to a Buffy Street residence where Brewer was arrested.
He is currently being held at the Strafford County Jail awaiting his initial court appearance today in Strafford County Superior Court.
Since the inception of the U.S. Marshals - New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force in 2002, these partnerships have resulted in 8,542 arrests as of the end of last year.
