MILTON MILLS - School vacation is over and its time to get back to our regular schedules. Read below for some hightlights of the month ahead!
Fun Fan Fiction - Get Ready Middle-Schoolers!
Middle-schoolers, it's your turn to try your hand at creating a new ending or a new scene for a book or story! The deadline for your Fun Fan Fiction entries is Thursday, April 2, either at school or the library. Our judges look forward to reading your creative, well-written, spell-checked entries! First, second, and third place winners will receive a generous prize, awarded by the Friends of the Milton Free Public Library.
28th Milton Winter Carnival
This year's theme is "Milton's Ice Age" celebrating the heritage and industry of our town. Events will take place on Friday, March 6th at the local Moose Lodge and at the Emma Ramsey Community Center. On Saturday, March 7th all events will take place at the Milton Town Beach beginning at 8:00 AM with a family fishing derby, snow-machine rides by the Model T Ford Snowmobile Club, ice cutting demos by The New Hampshire Farm Museum and other activities. Food vending by the Pink House! The Milton Free Library will be hold a painting with ice activity. Join us for some old fashion fun on the pond!
