Gaggle of GOP hopefuls at barbecue, beer bash

Beer, barbecue and presidential politics will all be on the menu when an impressive array of GOP presidential hopefuls, their surrogates and other party heavyweights, including U.S. Sen. John McCain, will be attending the Strafford County Republican Committee's Barbecue and Beer bash this Saturday in Dover.

Other confirmed speakers include U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (SC), Governor John Kasich (OH), Governor George Pataki (NY), Former IRS Commissioner Mark Everson (MS), Candy Carson, wife of Dr. Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina.

Confirmed brewers and distillers include: Stoneface Brewing Co (Newington, NH), Smoky Quartz Distillers (veteran owned and operated) Seabrook, NH, Deciduous Brewing Company (Newmarket), Garrison City Brewers (Dover), Earth Eage Brewing Company (Portsmouth), 7th Settlement Brewing (Dover).

The event will be held from 4-7 p.m. at the Cottage By The Bay, 97 Piscataqua Road, in Dover.

Tickets are $25 per person or a family ticket for $40. Active duty military and their immediate family (spouses and children) are welcomed at no charge. Click here for more details.
