Gary E. Chase ... former Nottingham fire chief

ROCHESTER - Gary E. Chase, 72, formerly of Nottingham, died Friday, November 18, 2016, at his home.
Born March 26, 1944, in Exeter, N.H., the son of Willis L. and Mildred E. (Twombly) Chase, he lived in Nottingham many years and attended Dover High School.
Gary was most proud of driving a truck for St. Johnsbury Trucking Co. as a member of Local 633.
He was a member of the Nottingham Fire Department and served as Nottingham Fire Chief.
Gary is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marsh M. Chase; three children and their spouses, David and wife Sarah, Adam and wife Betsy, and Michelle and partner Roland Gagnon; three grandchildren, Nicholas, McKayla, and Logan Chase; a brother, Ronald L. Chase Sr.; two nieces, one nephew and several cousins.
