Gary Whitehouse ... worked at Rockingham Electric

ROCHESTER - Gary Charles Whitehouse died unexpectedly on Nov. 21, 2021.

Gary was born on June 18, 1949, at Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover to Mary Goundrey Whitehouse and Merle Whitehouse. He graduated from Dover High school in 1967. He was still working part time at Rockingham electric because he enjoyed keeping busy and being around people.

He resided in Rochester for most of his life, leaving for a few years to try living the Florida lifestyle.

Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Shirley Whitehouse (Wiggin); daughters Kelley Merrihew and her husband Michael and Darci Bernstein and her husband Adam, Son Gary Whitehouse Jr.

Also grandchildren Kelsey Gerry, Ashly Gerry, Ciara Whitehouse, Keagan Whitehouse and Zoe Bernstein. Great grand children Caden Roberts and Cailyn Roberts; brothers Jim Whitehouse and wife Bonnie, John Whitehouse and wife Kalomira, Bob Whitehouse, Clyde Whitehouse and Rusty Whitehouse and his wife Cindy.

Gary will be truly missed by many, he was a very generous man with an infectious laugh and beautiful heart! He always wanted to help others even strangers he just met. He would chat up anyone with small talk and always made everyone feel at ease. May he Rest In Peace
