George & Ed's General Store hit with another armed robbery

ROCHESTER - Rochester Police are on the lookout today for a man who robbed George and Ed's General Store on Wednesday, the second time the store has been robbed in less than two months.

The armed heist occurred around 7 p.m. when police say a man walked into the store wearing all black clothing and brandishing a pistol. The suspect demanded cash, left with an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.

A Rochester K-9 unit attempted to track the suspect but the scent went cold, police say.

The man is described as 5'2" to 5'5" tall.

No one was injured during the robbery.

George and Ed's was last robbed back on Dec. 26. The suspect in that case, Anthony M. Driscoll, was arrested in January along with his suspected accomplice, Lana Markson.
