Gilmanton man charged in PIttsfield double shooting

PITTSFIELD - A Gilmanton man has been arrested in the shooting of two men in Pittsfield on Saturday.
Ryan Scott Ashlley, 31, is currently being held in the Merrimack County Jail
pending an arraignment today. He is charged with first degree assault and two counts of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.
The incident unfolded on Saturday around 11:50 a.m. drawing officers to the area of 54 Main St. for a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival they found two injured men in a parking lot. The victims were transported to Concord Hospital.
Troopers with the New Hampshire State Police are leading the investigation.
All parties involved in the shooting are currently accounted for and cooperating with the investigation, and there is no ongoing threat, according to safety officials.
