Barley soup and a House Salad hit the spot. (Rochester Voice photo)

CONCORD - The Rochester Voice traveled to Concord earlier this month to testify on several Right to Know bills, and we are testifying today that Tandy's Pub and Grille is a great place to unwind after a long, stressful day inside the Capitol.
They're known for their Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 burger, but we didn't want to get something heavy so we ended getting the Soup and Salad special.
We chose the barley soup, which was gluten free, and a house salad that came with a generous helping of fancy greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion and shredded carrots.
The barley soup was the perfect complement, hearty and hot, especially on Jan. 17, when the wind chills were in the teens.
The total tab was just $11 plus tax. Other $11 specials include a quarter pound angus beef hamburger with fries, a Haddock Basket and a
Chicken Tender Basket.
I guess you could say we heartily endorse Tandy's Bar and Grille.
