I am sooo outraged!!! In a very important Primary Election, thousands of people cannot vote because of the total ridiculousness of everyone having to travel miles to the only voting place in the whole county! I live in West Lebanon and would have to travel all the way to Biddeford... It is so unfair, manipulative and discriminating. No absentee ballots, except from military personnel, were allowed, thus making it impossible for elderly, handicapped, lack of transportation or having children that have to be taken to the polls for lack of child care available, or any other reason that makes it impossible to travel such a distance. Besides traveling for many, many miles, we would be faced with standing in long lines waiting for the whole county to get in, then having to deal with the ludicrous process of a caucus. That's not to mention the parking accessibility and bathroom problems. Why aren't these caucuses held in our own local voting polls so we ALL can vote, as is our citizen's right. I am so angry that I couldn't vote that am shaking and feeling sick!!
