GSCS registration, first rehearsal set for this afternoon

ROCHESTER - Registration for the Granite State Choral Society's Spring Season will begin today at 3:15 p.m. in the chapel at the First Church Congregational, 63 S. Main Street, Rochester.
First rehearsal follows registration from 4-6:30 p.m. GSCS will be preparing a concert filled with Broadway favorites. Registration is open for three weeks, so interested individuals are encouraged to attend one or more rehearsals in January before deciding to join the group.
Knowledge of how to read music is not a requirement, but may be helpful. Make a difference through song, become a member this coming season. For more information about joining the chorus, please email gschoral@gmail.com.
The Granite State Choral Society is a non-auditioned community chorus dedicated to presenting quality choral performances, ranging in styles from classical to secular, and to promoting the appreciation of the choral arts. The members come from all walks of life, from age 12 on up, and range from experienced singers to novices just discovering the joys of choral singing.
Granite State Choral Society has scholarships available to help offset the cost of dues, music and concert attire for any interested singers ages 12 to 22. Application forms for GSCS's Youth Scholarship Fund can be found online at www.gschoralsociety.org.
