ROCHESTER - The Granite State Choral Society will perform its Fall 2025 concert series, "Through Love to Light: A Journey in Song," next weekend.
Under the direction of Music Director Sandra M. Thomas, the choir will present two performances on Nov. 22 and Nov. 23.
The program, described as a musical journey, explores themes of hope, connection, and renewal--showcasing the choir's dedication to diverse and emotionally resonant repertoire, according to a press release from the group. The series marks a highlight of the Choral Society's season, featuring works selected to create a powerful and moving experience for listeners.
"This concert is a powerful reflection of music's ability to inspire hope and connection," said Music Director Sandra M. Thomas. "Through Love to Light' is a truly moving program, and we look forward to sharing this beautiful and deeply emotional journey with our audiences in both Rochester and Portsmouth."
Performances will take place on Nov. 22 at 4 p.m. at the First Church Congregational, located at 63 South Main Street in Rochester; and on Nov. 23, at 4 p.m. at the North Church of Portsmouth, located at 2 Congress Street in Portsmouth.
General admission tickets are $10 per person when purchased in advance online at https://gschoralsociety.org/concerts-and-events/ and $15 per person at the door.
