GONIC - Police say a man walked into the Gonic Road Irving Circle K early today, showed a hammer and demanded money from the clerk.
The heist occurred around 4:05 a.m. Police say the suspect fled the store after taking an undetermined amount of cash.
He was described as white and of average size wearing a multi-colored Mexican style blanket, with dark hooded sweatshirt underneath, and dark sunglasses.
Police conducted a K9 search, however the track was unsuccessful.
