Hannaford 'Bloomin' 4 Good' campaign will benefit city's food pantry

ROCHESTER - SHARE Fund has been selected as a beneficiary of the Hannaford Bloomin' 4 Good Program for the month of October.

The Hannaford Bloomin' 4 Good Program, which launched in August 2021, is an easy way for shoppers to give back. Every Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker sold supports a local nonprofit.

SHARE Fund, which supports Gerry's Food Pantry, was selected as the October beneficiary by local store leadership at both Rochester Hannaford locations. SHARE Fund will receive a $1 donation for every Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker purchased at this Hannaford location in October.

"Flowers can make someone's day, brighten a room or spread a smile," said Skip Smith, Executive Director of SHARE Fund. "Now they can give back to our local communities, too. Purchase a Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet at either Rochester Hannaford in October to help our organization support our Neighbors in Need. "

SHARE Fund is a nonprofit based in Rochester. Founded in 2007, SHARE Fund Inc. has provided food assistance to more than 800 households and more than $100,000 in housing assistance in 2023 alone, as well as distributing 20,000 diapers and thousands of clothing items to our neighbors in need.
