Historical Society speaker will give talk on 'Three women of Piscataqua'

LEBANON, Maine - The Lebanon Historical Society has changed the date of its October meeting to the 10th at the Martha Sawyer Library, Thursday at 7 p.m. to accommodate the speaker David Ramsay.

He will be giving a talk on the Three Women of Piscataqua: Celia Thaxter, poet from the Isle of Shoals; Sara Orne Jewett, author from South Berwick and Sarah Farmer peace activist and founder of Green Acres Education and Retreat Center.

The public is welcome.
