NORTH CONWAY - North Conway is home to a plethora of upscale hotels and venerable, storied inns, but the next time you spend a ski weekend there or stay overnight while on a foliage tour, you might want to try the new kid on the block, Home2 Suites by Hilton.
If a hotel could be classified as ergonomically correct, this would be the one.
The suites all have fantastic square footage, with enough counter and shelf space to give everyone in a family of four ample room to keep their "stuff."

The kitchen area includes microwave, dishwasher and full size fridge and sink. It also comes with dishes, glasses and flatware.

Our studio suite was no different with two queen-size beds and a convertible sofa with its own privacy curtain.
The suites all come with full-size refrigerators, coffeemakers, microwave, a full sink and a dishwasher.
Linda Siragusa, director of sales for Home2 Suites, said the rooms and other amenities were all designed with the intent to satisfy the "extended stay" guest.
"But we welcome both short- and long-term guests," she noted.
With a cozy desk area next to the kitchen and wi-fi that was as speedy as ours at home, we were able to rise early and put up several stories on The Voice with no problem before heading out on the slopes.
Speaking of tech, the room was literally littered with power outlets in every nook and cranny, something you can't get enough of these days.
The amenities extend beyond the suites downstairs to the lobby where a gourmet coffee station is available 24/7.

Guests choose between a myriad of options to get their day started at the 'Inspired Table' buffet.

Adjacent to the lobby is an indoor salt water pool on one side and a fitness center on the other.
The lobby is also where they serve one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever seen.
Guests can treat themselves to omelettes, french toast, waffles, cereal with fruit, yogurt, sausage and various fruits and juices.
The waffle maker was a big hit with my granddaughter, who was delighted at the number of toppings offered like fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
The best thing was you didn't have to wait for a waitress; just go up and grab what you want.
The hotel, which opened in October 2021, also has an onsite laundry, Siragusa noted.
Most of the suites are studios but they do also have a few one- and two-bedroom units. They also have pet-friendly rooms.
