Hospitalization rate remains low amid ongoing massive case counts

CONCORD - New Hampshire DHHS announced 209 new positive test results for COVID-19 on Friday, including 25 minors and 24 from Strafford County.

Two new hospitalized cases were reported for a current total of 48.

DHHS also announced two additional deaths related to COVID-19, both New Hampshire residents over 60.

Local current case numbers show Dover as the county hotspot with 63, followed by Durham with 42 and Rochester with 33.

Other local numbers have Barrington with 11, Farmington with nine, Somersworth with eight and Strafford and Milton with 1-4.
