ROCHESTER - Police are trying to track down the person who lost some tools that fell from their truck on Friday.
A Good Samaritan collected the tools after they saw them fall from the back of the truck on Gonic Road.
After retrieving the tools from the roadway they took them to the police station where they are still being kept, Rochester Police Sgt. Michael Miehle said today.
Miehle said he couldn't give any further description of what was lost because they want to make sure they identify the owner who would be the only one that would know what they'd lost.
"We're still hoping someone will come in and identify and claim them," Miehle said.
Anyone looking to claim their tools is asked to contact Officer Kimbrough at the station at 330-7128.
