Penny is a 7 year old lab Australian cattledog mix. This sweet girl deserves the very best retirement home that we can find for her out there! But don't let her age fool you, Penny is still very active! Penny loves going on walks and thoroughly enjoys playtime. She gets very excited when people interact with her.

Penny has previously lived with both cats and dogs and would easily acclimate to sharing her space with them again. Penny is a sensitive lady that would do best in a home with more experienced dog owners who know how to read dog signals, as Penny can be very particular about which parts of her body she does and does not like being touched.

It is for this reason Penny needs to go to a home with family members that will be respectful of her personal space and independence. Although this girl may take some time to initially warm up, we promise that once you get to know her you will love and appreciate her for her spunky and outgoing demeanor.
