Meet Stella!

Stella is a beautiful, six-year-old tortoiseshell cat that has been at CVHS for over a month. She came to the shelter after her owner moved and could no longer care for her. She's seeking a home where she can be appreciated for the independent lady she is.

At the shelter, Stella likes to keep to herself. She much prefers the peaceful sanctuary of her kennel to socializing in the cat room. Stella is quite selective of the company she keeps, and would do best in a home without children or other pets. She's an independent gal, and enjoys spending long periods of time by herself. Stella has a kind of queen bee mentality, and prefers to accept affection on her own terms.

Though she can be quite shy at first, Stella makes a wonderful companion once she gets to know you. She entertains herself most of the time, and would be a great addition to a home looking for a self-sufficient pet!
