STRAFFORD - The subject of a criminal investigation that drew officers from several law enforcement agencies to a Bow Lake island on Friday has been taken into custody, but safety officials remain tight-lipped on any details.
A press release sent early this morning said only that the unidentified individual was being evaluated at an area hospital after being detained by police around 1:40 a.m. today.
The incident in the area of Bennett Island began early Friday afternoon led to a response comprising State and Rochester Police as well as other multiple law enforcement agencies.
A Friday press release noted that the "situation is contained."
Police have not said the person was either arrested or charged with any crime.
