CONCORD - DHHS offiicials announced 891 new positive test results for COVID-19 on Sunday including 118 minors and 88 from Strafford County.

The newly identified cases also reflected a positivity rate of 9.1 percent, thought to be the highest single-day positivity rate the state has seen during the pandemic.

The number of cases in Dover exploded more than 20 percent over the weekend with current Garrison City cases now at 211, the most in the county.

Other local current case numbers include Rochester at 142, Somersworth at 43, Farmington at 45, Barrington at 40, Strafford at 14 and Milton at 24.

DHHS has also announced seven deaths related to COVID-19, including a Strafford County woman. All of the deceased were over 60.

There are currently 270 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19.
